The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Intermediate Architectural Designer / Architectural Graduate to join our talented Newmarket based team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial projects from concept through to completion, supported by our in-house team of Architects, Engineers and Revit Technicians.
In this role, you will
- Work autonomously on small scale projects and collaboratively within project teams on larger, complex developments.
- Develop architectural concepts and complete design packages clearly communicating design intent through to construction documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of Resource Consent and Building Consent documentation and approval processes.
- Deliver high quality design outcomes while meeting client briefs, budgets and programme requirements.
- Engage directly with clients, contributing to effective communication and long-term relationship development.
- Collaborate closely within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Contribute to innovative, high-quality architectural solutions with a strong focus on design quality and technical excellence.

About You
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Architecture obtained in New Zealand.
- 5-7 years’ experience on delivering commercial projects within New Zealand.
- Proficient in Revit, with strong capability in producing and coordinated architectural documentation.
- Strong understanding of New Zealand building codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
- Familiar with architectural specification writing and coordination with consultants and contractors.
- Strong design, technical, and problem solving skills across all project stages.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively both independently and within collaborative team environments.
- Currently based in New Zealand with a valid visa or permanent right to work.
