Kensington Health is a primary healthcare centre and is the main anchor tenant in a new medical precinct as part of the redevelopment of an old supermaket at Kensington, Whangarei. The design brief had specific spatial organisation requiements along with, health and hygiene to meet the practices Royal NZ College of GPs “Cornerstone” accreditation.

The design direction was driven by the need to be functional, hard wearing and fit for purpose, but also have an aesthetic that offered a calming environment and maximised natural light.
