Situated within the recently opened Silverdale Centre, the interior fitout of Rib ‘n Roast offers a casual approach to dining with outdoor seating, barstools and a lineal passage converted into an eatery hub for roast lovers, flooded with natural light the elongated windows in this passage also allow snippets of the busy environment outside.
A white washed plywood ceiling enhances the small space and wraps down one wall in the dining area, embellished with a playful array of contemporary geometric inspired white light fittings, a play on natural and artificial lighting occurs. Large round bulb pendants are suspended from rebated ceiling panels above the counter with thin strips of light at high level adding sophistication to the interior.
Grey washed wallpaper with linear metallic threads work in harmony with the concrete look vinyl tile on the floor at entry and enhances the dark oak vinyl plank on the floor in the dining hub.
A textured black upholstery vinyl lines the wall behind the counter and parallels the blackboard paint wall where the menu is scribbled on with chalk allowing the concept of casualness and playfulness to continue through the space.
A black, white and red logo was designed to add impact to the raw interior, and then further determined the colour scheme for furniture selection, with red barstools being a feature along the front eatery bar with a view.
